   Vincent and his assistant meticulously restored and brought back to life the 100 year old front doors to our brownstone. The process took many days as the doors needed to be stripped, sanded, stained, and finally varnished. The price was very reasonable considering the work effort, attention to detail, and the quality of the finished product.

   Vincent is a true craftsman and a consummate professional. He clearly communicated the timeline and the next steps throughout the process. He was very pleasant to deal with and did not mind spending extra time to answer questions and to educate us about the doors and their restoration process.

   I would definitely recommend Vincent to others who are seeking wood restoration in the area.

   Vincent undertook a difficult job for us in Brooklyn of removing very dark paint over stain from early 20th c. woodwork – stairwell, wainscoting, bookcases, stairs and crown molding. The stain had penetrated the wood which in many areas involved intricate carving. Vincent’s team did a wonderful, professional job. They covered the antique parquet floor to protect it and removed virtually all of the stain while preserving the grooves and curves. Then Vincent prepared five good-sized samples of the final stain for us to choose for the finishing. The work was started at the date agreed upon, completed in a timely manner, and everything was cleaned up at the end. We are happy to highly recommend Vincent Battiloro and his team.

   A true artisan. Vincent took my aged and splintered oak doors…neglected for years, and restored them to their former glory. This required not only a stripping and deep sanding of the door surface, but a complete replacement of the surrounding door jamb. For this he brought in a master carpenter who replicated the exact old-world details of the replaced woodworking. With an eye for detail and an envious knowledge of the material, Vincent and his team then skillfully matched the color and finish of the refurbished existing door and the new oak. The result is magnificent. Vincent has years of experience and is a true gentleman who takes a lot of pride in his craft – easy to work with, easy to trust. His staff is meticulous, thoughtful and great to work with as well. Considering this is the first thing people see as they approach my home, I could not be happier with the expert work that was done on my entry. Thanks, Vincent!

   Vincent and his team refinished the inner and outer doors and lobby woodwork of our Harlem Brownstone in May 2013 and really brought life back into them. Responsive, punctual and highly professional approach to restoring glorious woodwork of yesteryear…..highly recommended!

   Vincent and his crew have repaired all of the doors in our brownstone and we’re thrilled with the results. Our south-facing doors were weatherbeaten and in very poor condition, and now not only do they look great, he showed us how to keep them in good condition for years to come. They showed up to work when they said they would, and followed through on all I’d asked. Vincent’s crew worked very hard, through the day to get the job done before cold weather moved in. Honest and reliable, I recommend them!

   We love the work Vincent and the crew did on our brownstone door. Their work was excellent and they helped us pick a beautiful color for the stain. They guys were friendly and really hard workers. We would definitely recommend them!
